One day in Salzburg.

From our camping to Salzburg only 30 km, therefore Mozart's native land for a long time was in the obligatory program of our Alpine vacation.

Salzburg is a city of classical music. In the summer in city centre the set of open concert platforms will be organised. In Salzburg music sounds everywhere...

Probably, Mozart's birth in Salzburg also is the award to townspeople for them for love to a music... Mozart was born in an old city of Salzburg on January, 26th, 1756. Later Mozart's family has moved on the right coast. Mozart lived there in 1773-1780.

That at once is evident on arrival in Salzburg - set of bicycles. In city centre their large quantity.

The main sight of Salzburg after Mozart - a fortress of Hoenzaltsburg. The fortress is located on a 120-metre hill where it is possible to rise on foot on a ladder or to sweep in a carriage on a cable car.

Constructed in 11 century and nobody subdued, the fortress was a reliable refuge for townspeople at the time of wars. During Thirty-year war the fortress became an indestructible stronghold of Catholicism.

The fortress consists of a palace erected in Romance style, premises, numerous extensions and church.

In a fortress excursion with audioround in different languages is organised - it is possible to hear fortress and city history, since 11 centuries.

The excellent kind on a city from a fortress allows to understand that in city centre the place even suffices small small houses with a spacious lawn.
